The Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin hosts vineyards located in Castilla Leon, alongside a strip of the river that gives it its name, an extension of some 115 km in length and 35 km wide, touching the provinces of Soria (19 municipalities), Burgos (60), Segovia (4) and Valladolid (19). It begins approximately in the East in San Esteban de Gormaz and extends to Quintanilla de Onésimo in the West. The Duero route is a trip plagued by rich culture and gastronomy. Within it you will enjoy the culinary quality and variety of a land full of flavour, castles and corners full of history and magic. Here you will discover the world of wine, a historical culture that already is art, represented in the Wine Museum in Peñafiel (Valladolid).
